I found this French Toast recipe on Tastes Better From Scratch a while ago and have adapted it to my family's needs/tastes. We make this in a big-batch (as written below) so that we will have leftovers for another day. They reheat really well laid out on a sheet pan in the oven at 350 for about 5 minutes, or you can warm it in your microwave. But you can easily divide the recipe into thirds. To make this, I use my griddle and my blender to get my egg mixture completely mixed.
French Toast
Ingredients:
2 loaves Thick sliced Brioche bread (prefer Nature's Own)
Wet Mix:
12 eggs
2 cups milk
3/4 cup Flour
3/4 cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
Directions:
- Preheat griddle to 350 degrees F.
- In blender, combine the wet mix ingredients until well mixed. Pour into shallow dish (approximately 1/3 of mixture at a time fits into my glass pie plate) and refill as needed.
- Dip bread slices into egg mixture, flipping to both sides and place on griddle.
- Cook for about 3 minutes (until bottom of bread is browned), then flip to cook other side.
